And How is the Groom?

People ask me what L does as part of the wedding preparations.
I put him in charge of photography, music, playlist, the rings, the groom's men's outfit (no kaftans!), and the law and church requirements.
We have done the major stuff by week 3 but there are still so many things to do and so little time.

- We have to decide on the flowers for the entourage and the church. Compare the cost of getting it in Kalibo vs in Boracay
-We have to get confirmed (my church doesn't seem to have my record. But I have pictures to prove it! L hasn't had his yet)
-Oh yes, the Discovery Weekend.
-The misalette isn't drafted yet, but I will get a lot of help here from my kumares
-We still don't have a videographer (we are way over budget)
-The rings! L is intent on getting the black titanium ones which we can only get online with a month's leadtime.
-Entourage fittings will be done by Feb.
-Invites have been approved (after 6 revisions) and will be out by Feb.
-The layout and seating arrangement
- No program yet!
- I used my Mabuhay Miles to fly out on March for our food tasting at the Discovery Shores and to finalize the layout of the reception area, and the styling.


The thing is, it is fun to do this, and keeps me occupied. In 3 weeks, I lost 4 kilos, and if this keeps up, woohoo, hello proud Bora bride. What's the secret? Wag magkanin!


So what else is L occupied with these days?
He's researching for pegs for our pre-nup photos to be taken by our good friend Marco.
The inspiration is Vespa, of course, and our little adventures together.

vespa...mmmm muy bien vespa que!

i remember my photoshoot last week...it was a wedding event up on the hills of Tagaytay.. the magazine's clickers went up and took charge on our Minis for the bride & groom and the whole entourage.. mmmmm yeah... a wedding with all Mini Coopers as their train...sans the cans by the tail...

It was chilly and the site of the environment with just the wind's whiz and the smog's dew made it perfect for the afternoon.. thank you to no rain....no "tropical depression" was playing in the background as well..
