Crazy

M emailed me the mp3 file of the Leon Russell version. Grace sang to me the Carpenter version. She cried with me, while she saw me weep. Three days later, past badminton, dinner, massage, book, when everything is silent and everyone's in deep slumber, I'm wide awake. I play the song in a loop. While the billowing wind softly tugs at the curtain, and I hear nothing but stillness, I cry. I let the tears fall. A friend told me to stop na, don't crash again. But in the stillness of the night, who is there to stop my weeping over crushed dreams and broken vows?

p.s.
This is it. The last ode to what was once called love.
