Palm Beach Resort, Hugom Batangas

In spite the 4-hour 51km drive (the last 4 in rough road), and the rather rocky coastline, Laiya in San Juan Batangas is growing on me. I have been there a total of 4 times in the past 2 years, the last 2 both during the summer season. Last Thursday and Friday, we were billeted at the Palms Beach Resort, already part of Hugom. However, I have not found a local beach that comes close to Boracay and its vibe.
